Richard graduated from St Andrews University in 1990 with an MA (Hons) in Management and International Politics. After working for the Scottish Executive and Scottish Chamber Orchestra, he switched to a career in investment. Richard joined Murray Beith Murray, where he spent four years focused on managing the portfolios of private clients and their families as well as trustees. Richard then moved to Turcan Connell, where he spent the next 14 years, and was named ‘Head of Charity Investment’ in 2011. As well as over two decades of portfolio management experience, Richard’s background includes having been an elected Council Member of the National Trust for Scotland, a member of the Scottish Episcopal Church investment committee and chair of an Edinburgh-based arts charity. Richard joined Psigma in January 2016, he is based in the Edinburgh office, and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI.
